Still Alive

Well, as the summer comes to a close, I realize that I haven't posted an update in three months... not because of a lack of productivity, but simply because I've been consumed with other things. I've actually been working on quite a few different personal pieces, but at the moment, none of them are quite refined to what they should be, so I'll just have to hold off on posting them till then...

For now, here's a painting I started in late August for a potential client, but half way through it's production, it was scrapped as a result of some misunderstandings. Its a decent painting, so I might find some other use for it in the future, but for now it'll remain unfinished.

Black & White

Just for the hell of it, I decided to post a few pieces I did about a year ago for a black and white illustration class, taught by the great Mister Reusch. Check out his work at misterreusch.com

Freak Fest, ink and white gouache on Bristol, 11" x 17"

Aquanaut, ink on Bristol, 8.5" x 11"

Ice Cavern, ink and white gouache on Bristol, 7" x 10"

The Genius, Micron pens on Bristol, 8.5" x 11"

The Doldrums, pen and ink on Bristol, 8.5" x 11"

Brandeis Magazine Illustrations

Here are three paintings that were recently published in the spring 2008 issue of Brandeis University Magazine. They were done for the feature article, The Other Side of War, written by Robert L. Gallucci. It was kind of interesting to do political themed images for a change, thanks again Eson!

Vulnerable, acrylic on masonite, 12" x 16"

Bridging the Gap, acrylic on masonite, 12" x 16"

Metamorphosis, acrylic on masonite, 12" x 16"

Massart All-School Show

Here are a few paintings I did a while back that were on display at the Massart Illustration All-School Show back in early April. I really had a lot of fun painting these.

Liberty LOL, acrylic on canvas board, 12" x 16"

Yellow Brick Road, acrylic on masonite, 13" x 17"

An Update...

Well it's been a while, so I guess it's time for an update. Here's the latest painting I did for a small non-profit publication called The Pet Gazette.

Getting Started...

Hey now, welcome to my blog! This is where I'll be posting the majority of my work until I can get a website set up. To get things rolling, here are a few paintings from my Senior Degree Project show, which was a huge success. I'll be posting much more work a little later, but enjoy these for now.
